Ather 450X E-Scooter To Get ABS?
This update coincided with the launch of their budget-friendly model, the Ather 450S. At present, the company offers three scooter models: the 450S, 450X (2.9kWh), and the high-end 450X 3.7kWh. Adding ABS is seen as beneficial for elevating the quality and braking performance, though pricing remains a consideration. Incorporating ABS would raise the 450X cost by approximately Rs 12,000.
Every Ather scooter boasts a combined braking system (CBS), which contributes to its impressive braking performance. The brand believes this is a strong point despite the existing setup. Nonetheless, they anticipate that introducing an ABS version could resonate with well-informed and passionate buyers. Looking ahead, if Ather's intentions come to fruition, we could very well witness the incorporation of ABS in the 3.7kWh variant.
