Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler brand Oben Electric has launched a new battery protection program. The brand has announced a new Protect 8/80 protection plan for its electric vehicle batteries. Oben Electric Battery Protection Plan
Under the new Protect 8/80 plan, the brand is offering coverage for 8 years or 80,000 km. This comprehensive battery warranty will be available starting 1st May. Customers can purchase the plan for Rs 9,999.
This plan is offered under the Oben Protect platform, and the warranty will include battery performance, replacements, repairs, and other battery-related issues. Moreover, the brand claims that the customers are guaranteed to get top speed and acceleration over the warranty period. To make the ownership experience more seamless, the warranty is fully transferable, which will help the customers to get a better resale value of the Oben Rorr EZ electric motorcycle.
The new protection plan will be valid for both existing and new customers. The plan will cover the 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh battery variants of the Rorr EZ motorcycle. The Rorr EZ is priced at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom). It comes with 2 battery pack options with a range of up to 175km on a single charge. The Rorr EZ boasts a top speed of 95 km/h, and the brand claims the 0-40 km/h acceleration in just 3.3 seconds.
