Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Trademarked

Royal Enfield appears to be gearing up for the launch of a new 650cc motorcycle under the iconic 'Bullet' nameplate, with trademark filings for the Bullet 650 Twin recently surfacing. The upcoming model is expected to borrow styling cues from the Bullet 350 but with a more powerful parallel-twin engine. Following the launch of the Classic 650 back in March 2025, this could be the next big addition to Royal Enfield's expanding 650cc lineup.

The upcoming Bullet 650 is expected to carry forward the familiar identity of the Bullet series, setting itself apart from its Classic sibling mainly through its signature styling. Design elements like the rear fender, single-piece seat, and the pinstripes are likely to remain key features on the larger model. The Bullet 650 is likely to share much of its underpinnings with the Classic 650, including the same tubular-steel chassis, front forks, and wire-spoke wheels with tube-type tyres. Notably, it is likely to be priced slightly lower than the Classic 650, making it a more accessible option while still delivering the signature feel of the brand's 650cc platform.

Engine Details

The upcoming Bullet 650 Twin will be powered by Royal Enfield's well-established 648cc parallel-twin engine, which is already doing duty in several of the brand's 650cc models like the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor. This motor produces 46.3 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Verdict
While the reports keep on coming up about an even more potent 750cc mill in works for the Continental GT-R and the Himalayan 750, the brand is making sure that the 650cc line-up is well recieved and is available across diverse bodystyles and price range. The Bullet 650 will be another addition to the line-up and when priced below the Classic 650, will attract a different section of buyers.
