Audi e-tron GT & RS e-tron GT
Audi India is recalling its E-Tron GT and RS E-Tron GT models due to concerns about potential tension affecting the brake hoses on the front axle. Over time and during normal vehicle operation, significant steering and bending forces can create stress on these hoses.
This stress may lead to cracks at the points where the hoses are attached, which could result in a loss of brake fluid and ultimately lead to front axle brake failure. It's important for owners to be aware of this issue and take appropriate measures to ensure their vehicle's safety.

Not the First Recall for These Models
In June 2024, a recall was issued for 31 units of the same model due to concerns about the high-voltage battery's individual cell modules. These specific modules may have irregularities that could lead to overheating under certain conditions. Such overheating poses a serious risk, as it could create an acute fire hazard.
Verdict
Potential recalls stemming from these issues can lead to a decline in customer trust. However, swift action to address a recall demonstrates that brands are taking responsibility seriously.
