The company launched the all-new Bajaj Chetak Electric scooter in the Indian market in January 2020. Upon launch, it was an instant hit but then the pandemic happened and it affected its sales. In September 2020, the company stopped taking pre-bookings for the Chetak but now the bookings for the Bajaj Chetak EV are once again open in India.
The new Bajaj Chetak was the first electric offering from the house of this Pune-based Indian two-wheeler manufacturer. Last year in January, it was launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 1 lakh, Ex-showroom Delhi.
