The Bajaj Dominar 400 comes as a bold and aggressive looking bike which has massive road presence and a dominating stance. The bike is available only in two options - Black and Green. Right from the headlamp design to the side panels and other elements, the Bajaj Dominar 400 gets sharp designing cues which makes it look one of the most distinctive bikes in the segment.
The Duke 390, on the other hand, gets a naked design language and looks extremely sporty and raw. The bike gets bright colour combinations which makes it very attractive and attention-grabbing. Bajaj Dominar 400 Vs Duke 390 - Engine, Gearbox, and Performance
The Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.3 cc engine that features fuel injection. This engine churns out 39.4 bhp and 35 Nm of maximum torque. A 6-Speed MT comes mated to this engine. The overall refinement levels of this motor are great but it does get a little harsh when pushed hard.
A 373 cc, single-cylinder engine with fuel injection powers the Duke 390 and churns out 44 bhp and 37 Nm of peak torque. This engine is also mated to a 6-speed MT and feels extremely responsive to the throttle inputs. The lightweight of the bike also makes it peppier and more fun to drive.

Bajaj Dominar 400 Vs Duke 390 - Ride, Handling, and Comfort
The Bajaj Dominar 400 gets telescopic USD forks at the front while at the rear, it features multi-step adjustable Nitrox mono-shock suspension. Overall, the Dominar 400 remains very comfortable on the bad roads as the suspension is on the softer side. Moreover, the bike remains stable and planted when pushed hard.
The Duke 390 also gets a high-performance upside-down telescopic suspension setup from WP APEX. At the rear, the bike gets WP APEX mono-shock suspension. Overall, the suspension is tuned for performance due to which the bike feels very agile and has sharp handling. However, on the badly patched up roads, the Duke 390 may not be as comfortable as the Dominar 400.
