Bajaj Auto has achieved another big milestone in the two-wheeler industry. Pune-based two-wheeler maker has launched the world's first CNG motorcycle the Bajaj Freedom at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). Bajaj Freedom - Design & Features
The new Freedom boasts an ADV-inspired design from the side, but from the front, it boasts a retro styling with a sort of hexagonal LED headlamp assembly. The motorcycle gets halogen turn indicators. The seat is the interesting part and it measures 785mm in length, making it the longest seat in the segment. The motorcycle boasts an upswept exhaust design. The motorcycle comes in 7 dual-tone colours and Freedom branding is given on the front forks. At the back, it gets a raised rear section with a single pillion grab rail and a small LED tail lamp.
If we talk about the hardware of the motorcycle, the Freedom is built on a trellis frame. It comes with telescopic front forks a linked mono-shock absorber at the rear, and 16-inch tyre at rear. Braking duties are handled by the front disc and rear drum brakes, the lower variant comes with drum brakes on both ends. For the features, it gets a reverse LCD console with Bluetooth connectivity, a dedicated switch for petrol and CNG switchover among other features.

The Freedom is powered by a 125cc engine. It produces a power of 9.5 PS and 9.7 Nm of peak torque. It features a 2-litre petrol tank and a 2 kg CNG tank. The combined range of the motorcycle is 330 km.

Bajaj Freedom will revoltunise the commuter motorcycle segment. The combined range of petrol and CNG is 330 km, which is a great number considering the amount of fuel it will take.
