Bajaj Pulsar N125: Design, Features, Engine, Price
Spotted closely on the road, the Pulsar N125 looks sporty in terms of design. While the camouflage doesn't reveal the body panels, the overall silhouette is clearly imaginable. It'll cater for the sporty commuter segment consisting of rivals like TVS Raider & Hero Xtreme 125R. The front profile looks sharp and there is a possibility that the headlamp design would be similar to the Pulsar N150. Also, it'll get features like an LED headlamp, LCD console, Bluetooth phone connectivity, and more.
The side profile in the photos reveals the diamond frame and a split seat setup. The footpegs of the rider are a bit rear-set while the tubular handlebar is upright. Hence, the overall riding position appears to be semi-sporty. Hardware will consist of a telescopic front suspension, a preload adjustable rear monoshock suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, an underbelly exhaust, and a large fuel tank.
Powering the N125 could be a tried and tested 124.4cc air-cooled engine from the current Pulsar 125. This engine could undergo increased refinement levels and better fuel efficiency tuning. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox on the Pulsar 125 and it shall remain so on the N125 as well.
While the next big launch by Bajaj is its upcoming CNG bike on June 18; the Pulsar N125 could very well launch before the end of this year. Considering Bajaj's aggressive pricing strategy, we expect it to be launched under Rs 1 lakh mark.
