Bajaj-Triumph Speed 400 Dispatch Details

Triumph has shared the press release quoting that the first batch of Speed 400 has been dispatched. The production of the new bike is being taken care of by Bajaj. For this, the Chakan 2.0 plant is being utilized. Here, Bajaj also manufactures its rival KTM 390 Duke. Meanwhile, this first batch of bikes will soon reach its respective dealerships. Hence, the test rides and deliveries will begin shortly by the end of this month. Additionally, Triumph has now activated the configurator for the Speed 400. This online configurator helps in kitting the bike with the desired accessories before finalizing the booking.

While the Speed 400 is already a good-looking bike, the 24 optional accessories can help it improve aesthetically as well as utility-wise. The configurator also shows the Phantom Black colour option which was not showcased until now. What else is interesting is that the price of the Speed 400 is attracting many buyers. Therefore, Tirumph has increased the booking amount of it to Rs 10,000. This amount was previously set at Rs 2,000 for the first 10,000 customers. Technically, the Speed 400 features an all-new 398.15cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. This powerplant makes a peak power of 39 bhp & 37.5 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
