Royal Enfield and Belstaff have joined hands to manufacture a series of riding apparel, and a limited edition Continental GT650.
Royal Enfield has forged a partnership with, leisure riding apparel company, Belstaff, to celebrate REs 120th anniversary. This includes products like T-shirts, Zip-through Sweatshirt, Motorcycle jackets, and Logos T-shirts. The partnership will also result in a Belstaff branded Continental GT 650. The Belstaff Edition Royal Enfield Continental GT650 will be sold where it's been unveiled, the UK.
Belstaff has been making riding gears in the UK, since 1924. With this collaboration, the new motorcycle also showcases a design that focuses on the apparel aspect of riding. The changes are mostly restricted to its aesthetics. For example, the dual-tone theme of black-and-white, that was showcased, makes the bike look unique. Besides, the bike is also available in Rocker Red, Mr Clean, Dux Deluxe, British Racing Green, and Ventura Storm, colour options.

Many components have been blacked out, like the engine section, hear and brake levers, and the rear suspension as well. The white shade can be found on the fuel tank, seat mount, and side panels. The Belstaff logo comes in white and black and it sits on the front section of the fuel tank. The fuel tank and the knee pads also get a fabric lining, the same used for the seat. This special fabric design is supposed to establish a connection between the rider and his/her ride.
Mechanically, the Belstaff Edition Royal Enfield Continental GT650 still seeks power from a reliable 648 cc parallel-twin motor that produces 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The bike sits on the same tubular-frame chassis, and it suspends on 41 mm front forks and twin coil-over shocks at the rear. It gets an 18-inch wheel with spokes at both ends, with a 320 mm front disc brake, and 240 mm rear disc. Dual-channel ABS is available as standard.
