With the end of 2021, few car manufacturers like Skoda, Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, and a few more have already revealed that with the beginning of 2022 there will be a hike in the prices of the cars. So, here is a list of discounts that the companies are offering in the form of exchange bonuses, cash discounts, corporate benefits or even a set of free accessories in some cases.
Renault Duster
Renault Duster is an old SUV available in the market. Earlier it was available with diesel and petrol engine choices, however, the car is now available with two petrol engine choices - a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The former is capable of producing 106PS of maximum power and 142 Nm of peak torque and the latter is capable of producing 156PS of maximum power and 254 Nm of peak torque.

Renault Duster is a performance-loaded car that has a tough built quality and is offering the highest year-end discount with a total of Rs 1.30 lakhs. Renault is claiming to give a cash discount up to Rs 50,000, corporate benefits of Rs 30,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000.
Nissan Kicks
Nissan Kicks has been in the market for more than a year now and the car is offered with a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine that is capable of producing 156PS of maximum power and 254 Nm of peak torque. Though Nissan Kicks is a compact car still it was not able to grab much attention. The carmakers have installed robust suspension for enhanced performance and also comes equipped with smart connected features.
Nissan Kicks is the other one in its segment that is offering a discount of up to Rs 1.00 lakh. A cash discount of Rs 15,000, Rs 70,000 off as an exchange bonus, and Rs 10,000 off as corporate benefits, Rs 5,000 additional off on booking the car online.
Mahindra XUV300
Mahindra is one of the best players in the society after introducing the latest XUV700. Mahindra is known for its built quality and performance and XUV300 is one of the best and affordable SUVs at that price tag. The car manufacturers are offering a huge discount on this SUV. The XUV300 is available with petrol and diesel engine choices. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is capable of producing 85.8kW of maximum power and 300 Nm of peak torque whereas the 1.2-litre petrol engine that can churn out 82kW of maximum Power and 200 Nm of peak torque.

The SUV is one of the safest cars in its segment that has also achieved 5-star ratings in the Global NCAP crash test. The company is offering an off of up to Rs 30,000 as cash discount, Rs 25,000 as exchange bonus and Rs 4,000 as corporate benefits, Rs 10,000 as an additional off for accessories.
Mahindra KUV100
Mahindra KUV100 is a small family car that looks similar to its elder siblings. It is the six-seater version that makes it fall apart from its competition. The car is available with a single engine option of 1.2-litre mFALCON petrol engine that comes with a superior low-end torque.
Mahindra is offering a discount of up to Rs 61,055 on KUV100. Up to Rs 38,055 of cash discount, Rs 20,000 exchange bonus and corporate benefits of Rs 3,000.
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross
Maruti Suzuki India introduced the S-Cross to the Indian market thinking it to be a successful one. The car manufacturers offer a smart mild hybrid system as well with its S-Cross. Just like Marutis other cars, this one is also easy to maintain, and cheaper than its competition. The car is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild hybrid tech.
The car makers are offering Rs 45,000 off as a year-end discount. Casg benefit of Rs 15,000, Rs 25000 on exchange bonus, and Rs 5,000 off as a corporate discount.
Tata Harrier
Tata with the introduction of Harrier to the market grabbed all the attention towards itself. The SUV is built on a stronger platform as compared to its rivals and looks modern as well. The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine that is capable of churning out 170PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque. It is a feature-loaded SUV with spacious cabin and excellent performance.
Tata is offering an off of up to Rs 40,000 as an exchange bonus and Rs 25,000 off as a corporate discount except on the Dark edition variants. The Dark editions offer an exchange discount of Rs 20,000.
Tata Safari
Tata Safari is the flagship SUV that has been available in the market for a long time. The carmakers have recently re-launched the SUV in a complete new avatar with upgraded tech and advanced technology. It is built and powered by the same engine as that of Harrier.
The company is offering no exchange bonus and corporate benefits on Safari except for an exchange discount of up to Rs 40,000 on all variants.
Renault Triber
Renault Triber is a seven-seater car available in the market at a competitive price tag. It is built on a unique platform that is capable and tough. The Triber is powered by a 1.0-litre dual VVT energy petrol engine that is capable of producing 72PS of maximum power and 96 Nm of peak torque. It is one of the safest cars as it was also able to score a 4-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
However with the end of 2021, the carmakers are offering a discount of up to Rs 60,000 that includes Rs 10,000 cash discount, Rs 20,0000 exchange bonus and Rs 10,000 as a corporate benefit. If you opt for MY2020 models, the exchange and cash discount will rise to Rs 25,000.

Hyundai Aura
Hyundai Aura is a compact sedan with premium features as compared to its price range. It is a spacious, well-equipped sedan that is available with three engine choices - 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.2-litre diesel engine. The carmakers are also offering CNG as an option.
The turbocharged Aura comes with a benefit of Rs 50,000 and the CNG one gets a benefit of worth Rs 15,000. The other variants available have benefits of up to Rs 25,000 which includes a combination of cash discounts, corporate benefits and exchange bonus.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
Now, comes the most-sold hatchbacks in India, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. Hyundai i10 when launched in the Indian market was loved by all and this one is also no less. Not just the features and spaciousness it offers but also the drive experience is amazing as compared to its size and price.
Hyundai is offering discounts of up to Rs 50,000 for the turbo trims and for the CNG variant Rs 15,000. Other than these two, Hyundai is offering a discount of Rs 25,000 for the other variants.
Honda Jazz
In the mid of 2021, Honda updated its hatch, Jazz with a facelift version. It is a super smooth car, though compact but spacious from inside. The carmakers not just updated the car from outside but also the cabin has been updated with premium features and advanced creature comforts. It is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a manual and automatic transmission.
Honda is offering Rs 10,000 as a cash discount, Rs 5,000 exchange bonus, Rs 5,000 as loyalty and Rs 4,000 as corporate benefits. Also, if someone is planning to exchange a Honda with a Honda then he will be offered Rs 9,000 as loyalty bonus.

Renault Kwid
Renault Kwid is a small hatchback and a value for money. It is available at an affordable price tag and also has a striking design language. It is powered by a 800cc petrol engine and a 1.0-litre petrol engine.
Renault is offering huge discounts on its cars. The company is offering benefits of Rs 35,000 that includes Rs 10,000 as a cash discount, Rs 15,000 as an exchange bonus, and Rs 10,000 as corporate benefits.
