BMW CE 02 Design
The BMW CE 02 is clearly 'something different', although it does appear to be more of a small bike; think somewhere along the lines of the Honda Navi or the 'Bobby' Rajdoot and you'll get the idea. While its compact dimensions may not be ideal for riding two-up, its size will be beneficial when navigating through tight city traffic.

BMW CE 02 Powertrain and Hardware
The CE 02 is powered by a belt-driven electric motor producing 14.7bhp at 5000rpm and 54.9Nm of torque at 1000rpm. This setup will be backed by a 1.96kWh battery pack, with a claimed range of 94km on a single charge. A 1200W optional fast charger can juice it up from 0-80% in three hours.
Built on a double-loop steel frame, the CE 02 makes use of USD forks and an offset adjustable monoshock. For braking, you get a 239mm disc with a dual-piston floating calliper up front, along with a 220mm disc with a single-piston calliper at the rear.
BMW CE 02 Features
Do not expect the CE 02 to be packed with a lot of premium features. However, the global model is offered with two riding modes, an LED headlight, single-channel ABS, a 3.5-inch TFT display with some degree of smartphone connectivity, a USB C-type charging socket, keyless system and a reverse mode. Heated grips and a phone holder are offered as optional extras.
