BMW G 310 RR Delivery Details
The new G 310 RR was launched in India not so long ago. However, within a few days of its launch, the bike received more than 1,000 plus bookings. This portrays the fact that BMW enjoys a premium brand image in India. However, it can not be denied that it is more or less a rebadged version of its sibling bike i.e. the TVS Apache RR 310. Not just the design but also the mechanicals have been carried as it is on the BMWs iteration.
However, for the buyers who want a more premium brand moniker on the fuel tank; the G 310 RR is one of the bikes. Priced at a relatively higher mark when compared to the TVS Apache 310; BMW holds the Motorrad paint scheme on it. This makes it look even more desirable. Additionally, it gets a revised TFT display with graphic revisions to support the BMWs layout of bikes.
Meanwhile, the rest of the bike looks the same. BMW offers it in a single variant that has two colour options - Standard & Style Sport. However, if you look at the features list, it misses out on Bluetooth smartphone connectivity as seen on the TVS Apache 310. Other features include - four ride modes, a TFT display, LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, & traction control as well.
The Standard variant comes with a single colour option called Black Storm Metallic and is priced from Rs 3.85 lakh. However, the Style Sport includes a more eye-catchy Racing Blue Metallic mixed with Racing Red highlights. This variant has been priced relatively higher i.e. Rs 3.99 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. Its main rivals in India are - KTM RC 390 & TVS Apache RR 310.
