BMW G 310 RR is the new official name for the upcoming sports bike & it is based on the TVS Apache 310 RR. It will be the most affordable sports bike from BMW.
The BMW-TVS joint venture formed a long time ago was to design & launch shared products & tech. The venture led to the birth of the 310 series bikes. While TVS has launched, updated, & sold their part well; BMW lagged with such a product. The development for their upcoming sports bike is complete & it is ready for launch. Now, the company has finalized the name also for this upcoming sports bike. As teased officially, it will be badged as the BMW G 310 RR.

The upcoming BMW G 310 RR will become the most affordable sports bike from the company in India. Although this new bike is based on the TVS Apache RR 310, between a lot of similarities there will be distinctive changes as well. This translates us to the fact that despite the same mechanicals, the tech & design will endorse fresh air from the BMW brand.
As teased via the official adverts on the social media handles of BMW, the G 310 RR will have a new nose. Unlike the Apache, the G 310 RR is going to have a new front plastic cowl, a different windscreen, & new dual-LED projector headlights. Not just this, but, it will also have the iconic BMW Motorrad livery colours & touch-ups. So, we can expect new add-ons as such the fully-adjustable suspension, different riding modes, & new TFT graphics in BMW's signature style.
Nevertheless, the design teased takes the excitement to next level now. The launch is nearing & the new BMW is all set to set fire in the quarter-liter sports bike segment. Although, a lot of design elements are carried from the TVS sibling. These include the likes of 5-spoke alloy wheels, chassis, engine, & most of the chassis design.

Speaking technically, the BMW G 310 RR will embrace the same engine as the TVS sibling. This means we expect the same 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces a peak power of 33 hp & 27.3 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed transmission comes along with the slipper-assist clutch. BMW will offer different riding modes & USD suspension to assist every type of riding.
We are expecting that BMW will launch the new bike within this month. Prices will be higher than its rivals such as the 2022 KTM RC 390 & Kawasaki Ninja 300.
