Citroen made its debut in the Indian market with its flagship SUV, C5 Aircross. The facelifted model of the same was launched a few days ago. They also have another car in their portfolio, C3 and it rivals Tata Punch and Maruti Ignis. Interestingly, we can also expect its electric version to be unveiled later this year. Along with that, Citroen is also readying for a 7-seater C3 in India for next year which is 2023.
Yes, Citroen C3 7-seater could be a real deal and the same has been spotted on Indian roads. We expect that this upcoming 7-seater car will rival Renault Triber and even the Maruti Ertiga. Mechanically, like the C3 hatchback, this upcoming long version of the C3 will be powered by the same engine options.
Citroen C3 is offered with two engine options - 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.2L turbocharged petrol. The latter is quite powerful and generates a peak power and torque of 109 bhp and 190 Nm, respectively. It gets mated to a 6-speed manual transmission only and the ARAI mileage sticks to 19.4 kmpl.

The 1.2-litre non-turbo motor belts out 80 bhp with 115 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is offered as standard and the ARAI-certified fuel economy sticks to 19.8 kmpl. We expect that both these engines will be offered with the C3 7-seater and do expect an automatic transmission too.
As can be seen in the video, the C3 7-seater sports a third row of seats with adjustable headrests. This upcoming car will be longer and we also expect a bigger wheelbase with it along with an increased height too. The C3 rides on 15-inch steel wheels (even for the top-spec variant), however, we can expect the 7-seater version to be equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels.
Feature-wise too we can expect the C3 7-seater to be better equipped as to match with the competition. Do expect power adjustable ORVMs, automatic climate control, push-button start/stop, telescopic steering wheel, shark-fin antenna, projector headlights, LED taillights and more.
