If you are looking for a scrambler motorcycle then wait a little bit more. The 2022 Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard is very soon to get launched in India. Confirming this are the unofficial bookings that have begun at a select dealerships. The new Scrambler is based on the iconic Ducati style & comes finished in a special paint shade as well.

The new Urban Motard is based on the Ducati Scrambler 800. Largely the motorcycle is unchanged from the standard variant. Only some cosmetic changes and design rework is prominent over the Urban Motard to make it urban commute friendly. As the scrambler bikes are dedicated for trail riding, the setup of this version is to cater the urban sporty riding along with off-road capabilities.
Mechanically, it comes equipped with an 803cc, L-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is capable of producing peak power of 73 hp at 8,250 rpm & 66.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,750 rpm. The engine is highly tractable to use and it comes filled with humongous low-end torque. The overall engine power setup makes the Scrambler a fun-to-ride bike. Ducati uses a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch as transmission. Ducati uses a 41 mm USD Kayaba suspension at the front & a single mono-shock at the rear. Additionally, the frame is a tubular steel trellis that helps provide rigidity along with being lightweight.

The upcoming Ducati is fitted with features like traction control, cornering ABS, riding modes, Bluetooth connectivity, etc. Also, the paint shade is a beautiful Star White Silk & an iconic Ducati GP'19 Red colour. The street art & metropolitan graffiti-inspired graphics make up the appearance more attractive for the scrambler. After the launch, this will be the third addition to the scrambler range of Ducati in India. The others include - Scrambler 800 & Scrambler 1100. Triumph Street Scrambler remains its only direct rival in India.
