Triumph has finally launched their most affordable tourer motorcycle, Tiger Sport 660 and the price for the same sticks to Rs 8.95 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The bookings for the bike can be done at any Triumph showroom across the country at a price of just Rs 50,000.
Powering the Tiger Sport 660 is the same engine as found in the Trident 660. This 660 cc, liquid-cooled engine produces as much as 80 bhp of power with a peak torque of 64 Nm. It gets a 6-speed manual gearbox with a gear shifting pattern limited to 1 up and 5 down.
This bike gets a dual-channel anti-lock braking system, slipper and assist clutch, 310 mm disc brake at the front and 255 mm disc brake for the rear tyre. Suspension duties are carried out by 41mm upside down separate function cartridge forks and at the rear, it gets a monoshock with remote hydraulic preload adjustment. The fuel tank capacity sticks to 17.2 litres as opposed to 14 litres found in the Trident 660.

Feature-wise, the Tiger Sport 660 gets LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED turn indicators, digital instrument cluster, two riding modes - rain and road, switchable traction control, integrated panier mounts and more. The bikemaker will offer more than 40 accessories with this bike.
Triumph Tiger Sport 660 will be made available in three dual-tone colour options - Graphite and Sapphire Black, Lucerne Blue and Sapphire Black and Karosi Red with Graphite. It rivals Kawasaki Versys 650 and Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT.
