Hero has introduced significant updates to its popular 100 cc model, now rebranded as the Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0, with a price tag of Rs. 82,911. Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0: Design Twerks
The new Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 model features an all-new LED headlamp with LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The bike showcases new graphic elements, including a simple vertical stripe at the front, a dual-tone stripe on the tank, and a chrome-finished engine crash guard.
On the side, you'll find the "Splendor+ Xtec 2.0" badging and a sturdy tubular grab rail. The seat has been redesigned to be longer, and there are side hooks for added convenience. At the back, the bike is equipped with a distinctive H-shaped LED taillamp.
The switch setup on the handlebars has also been updated. The left handle now includes dedicated buttons for passing, low/high beams, hazard lights, turn indicators, and the horn. On the right handle, you'll find the i3s button and the self-start button. The bike comes with CEAT tyres for a reliable ride.

Theres also a charging port and i3s technology among other features.
While it doesnt have turn-by-turn navigation, it's worth noting that Hero has packed in quite a lot of features that aren't typically found in other 100cc bikes.
Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0: Engine Details
It comes equipped with a 100cc single-cylinder engine, producing 5.9 kW at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 8.05 Nm at 6000 rpm. This engine is paired with a four-speed gearbox. According to Hero, the engine offers a fuel efficiency of 73 km per litre.
For suspension, the bike features telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front and a swingarm with 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The braking system features a front brake drum with a diameter of 130 mm, along with a rear brake drum of the same size. Additionally, it boasts an Integrated Braking System.
