Hero Xoom 125R, Xoom 160: Powertrain And Rivals

The Hero Xoom 125R will utilize a slightly toned-down version of the 125cc engine found in the Maestro Edge 125 and Destini 125 models. This air-cooled, single-cylinder engine on the Xoom 125R delivers 9.37 bhp of maximum power and 10.14 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the Xoom 160 boasts a 156cc liquid-cooled engine, distinct from the one powering the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, although specific power and torque figures for this new engine are yet to be disclosed. Notably, both scooters will feature i3S technology and ABS for enhanced functionality.

Aside from targeting the local market, Hero is set to unveil the Xoom 125R and Xoom 160 in international locations, underscoring the company's heightened emphasis on exports.
