Hero Xpulse Rally Edition Details
Speaking of the Rally Edition, it is priced at Rs 1,52,100 ex-showroom, Delhi. This price is Rs 16,000 more than the standard variant of the bike. So, what more do you get by paying more? For starters, the suspension on the Rally Edition is better. The front forks can travel up to 250mm and are fully adjustable as well. Meanwhile, the rear suspension is the same pre-load, adjustable 220mm travel monoshock.
However, the main changes are cosmetic. The paint scheme is a limited white and red livery that has been inspired by Hero's Dakar Rally factory bike. Additionally, the fuel tank embraces a signature from CS Santosh himself who is the factory rider for Hero in the Dakar Rally. Apart from this, there are no further mechanical changes. This means it continues using the same BS6-compliant 200cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned to develop 18.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.
As the bookings for the second lot are completed, we suspect that the bikes will also be delivered soon to the owners. However, if you're planning to buy the Rally Edition; patience remains the only option as of now. Unless the only rival to it is the Honda CB200 X.
