The Hero Xpulse 200T 4V has been introduced by Hero Motocorp in India for Rs. 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The company no longer offers the Xpulse 200T 2V and only offers the 4-valve-engined models for the Xpulse lineup.  The Hero Xpulse 200T 4V lies below the Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle, which is more off-road focused. Both motorcycles have the same engine and share certain other features, but they also differ in a few ways. Hero Xpulse 200T 4V vs Xpulse 200V - Design

The recently released Xpulse 200T is primarily a road motorcycle with an off-roader appearance. It comes with alloy wheels, a dual tone body colour, a spherical headlamp with a small fly screen, and other design elements that are focused on the road. The 17-inch radial tyres on alloy wheels of the Xpulse 200T provide a ground clearance of 175 mm.

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V, on the other hand, is an ADV with more off-roader-style looks and proportions. A raised front mudguard, a sizable windscreen, a round headlamp unit, handlebar hand protectors, and spoked wheels rather than the alloy wheels found on the Xpulse 200T are added to the motorbike. Ground clearance is 220 mm higher on the off-road-focused Xpulse 200 than it is on the Xpulse 200T, and it has front wheels with 21-inch spokes and rear wheels with 18-inch wheels.

The same 200cc, 4-valve single-cylinder engine powers both bikes, but it now produces 18.8 bhp of peak power and 17.3 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, both bikes have a 5-speed transmission paired with their engines.

Both bikes come equipped with a digital instrument cluster with a gear indication, an eco mode indicator, Bluetooth and SMS communication for smartphones, and turn-by-turn navigation. Additionally, both bikes include telescopic front forks, single-channel ABS, LED headlamps, mono-shockshock rear suspension, and other similar characteristics.

A rally-tuned suspension kit, improved ergonomics, and rally tyre kits are also added to the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. The inclusion of a USB charging connector is a bonus feature of the Xpulse 200T.

Priced at Rs. 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), the recently released Xpulse 200T 4V is available in three colour options: Sports Red, Matte Shield Gold, and Funk Lime Yellow.

On the other hand, the Hero Xpulse 2004V is priced at Rs. 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Additionally, it is available in three colours: Sports Red, Polestar Blue, and Matte Nexus Blue.

Verdict: Both Hero ADV bikes have the same engine, however the Xpulse 200 4V is the better choice if you want to use your two-wheeler for off-road expeditions. The Xpulse 200T will be the ideal option, if you need a bike for both city riding and cruising down the highway. Just Rs 11,000 separates the two products' prices, and both come with an almost identical set of features.
