It is just like Maruti which continues with the previous-gen Dzire and targets the cab aggregators whereas the new-gen Dzire is specific for private buyers. We are not sure if Honda reserves the fourth-gen City for fleet operators and continue to target private buyers with 2020 City. If that comes true then it is expected that Honda will cut out on some trims.

We say it because Honda might decrease the prices of the older model and hence improve sales. The new City will be premium by Rs 50,000 and gets all the new features, technology and design.

Honda City is the ultimate mid-size sedan known for practicality, reliable i-VTEC engine, premium interiors and people trust on the City monicker. And both fourth and fifth-generation Honda City ticks these boxes.
