In a recent piece of information revealed by Honda Cars India, they will sell the upcoming 2020 City alongside the fourth-gen model. The new sedan is expected to launch post lockdown and will see higher pricing than the outgoing model.

It is just like Maruti which continues with the previous-gen Dzire and targets the cab aggregators whereas the new-gen Dzire is specific for private buyers. We are not sure if Honda reserves the fourth-gen City for fleet operators and continue to target private buyers with 2020 City. If that comes true then it is expected that Honda will cut out on some trims.
If Honda targets the mass segment buyers for the older generation City in Indian markets then it sure can increase its sales. We say it because Honda might decrease the prices of the older model and hence improve sales. The new City will be premium by Rs 50,000 and gets all the new features, technology and design.
Honda City is the ultimate mid-size sedan known for practicality, reliable i-VTEC engine, premium interiors and people trust on the City monicker. And both fourth and fifth-generation Honda City ticks these boxes.

Sharing more details on the 2020 Honda City then it comes with premium features like lane-watch camera assist, gets Amazon Alexa support, Honda Connect, G-Force meter and among others. Safety features on the City include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, cruise control, electric sunroof, TPMS, vehicle stability assist, rear parking sensors and among others.
The prices of the new-gen Honda City are expected to see a premium of Rs 10.60 lakh and is expected to reach Rs 17 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. Once launched it will compete with Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Rapid, Toyota Yaris, Volkswagen Vento and the fourth-gen City.
