So, as you have seen in the above tables, the price of almost all the variants of the new Honda City has been hiked by 10,000 rupees. The price of the new fifth-gen Honda City now starts at Rs. 10.99 lakhs and it goes upto Rs. 14.94 lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. Now, if we talk about its powertrain options, so the all-new Honda City gets a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that churns out 121 PS of power at 6600 RPM and 145 Nm of torque at 4300 RPM. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-step CVT. It gets VTC (Variable Valve Timing Control) too.
The new-gen Honda City gets a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre diesel engine too that churns out 100 PS of power at 3600 RPM and 200 Nm of torque at 1750 RPM.
