Honda Hawk 11 Cafe Racer Details

Speaking of Cafe Racer, the Hawk is based on the Africa Twin ADV platform. However, there are no similar-looking traits between these bikes. One is an ADV, but another is a cafe racer with neo-retro looks. The Hawk was showcased globally at the Osaka Motor Show'22. However, there were lease speculations of it making it to Indian shores. But, Honda India might have a surprise for its fans as the bike has been homologated. However, there is no official information regarding its launch time or cost till now.

Like most cafe racer bikes, the Hawk also uses a dedicated riding posture. Along with it, the round headlight and a single seat make it look more retro. Meanwhile, the tail design is a bit modern as it looks familiar to the Honda CBR650R. In terms of features, it gets LED lights, a round digital instrument console, riding modes, traction control, Bluetooth connection, etc.

Additionally, the most interesting bit of it is its engine. This powerplant is the same as that on the Africa Twin. This 1,082cc, parallel-twin engine makes a peak power of 100 bhp & 104 Nm of peak torque. It gets an option of a 6-speed manual or a DCT automatic gearbox; similar to the ADV sibling.
Verdict
While Honda has not uttered a word about it till now; we suspect that it will launch in the coming months. We anticipate that it will bear a price tag of around Rs 12 lakh upon launch. If launched, it will rival the Ducati Scrambler 1100 & Triumph Bonneville T120.
