Husqvarna Svartpilen 401: What To Expect?
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is currently in the testing phase, and recent sightings on the road have provided insights into its design. The test model showcased distinct features, including a circular LED headlight adorned with a small visor. Adding to its aesthetics, the bike boasts a muscular fuel tank with horizontal extensions and a single-piece seat.
Interestingly, prior glimpses of the Svartpilen 401 displayed spoke wheels, but there's speculation that the brand might opt for alloy wheels in the Indian market. It's worth noting Bajaj's approach with the KTM 390 Adventure, where spoke wheels were introduced several years after the bike's initial launch. With the Husqvarna offering, there seems to be a potential shift in strategy.

When this new model is introduced, it will come packed with a range of useful features including advanced full LED lighting and a clear LCD display that provides essential information like your speed, trip details, distance travelled, engine speed, and more.
Taking cues from the recently released KTM 390 Duke, the upcoming Swedish scrambler is set to be powered by a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This engine, coupled with a smooth six-speed gearbox, is expected to deliver a respectable 45bhp of power and a torque of 39Nm for a satisfying performance on the road. It will be equipped with USD front forks and an offset mono-shock. Safety features will include disc brakes on both wheels, backed by dual-channel ABS to provide reliable braking performance.
Upon its release, the new model will be in direct competition with the Triumph Scrambler 400 X, Yezdi Scrambler, and the Royal Enfield Scram 411. As for the pricing details, there is currently no information available. However, we anticipate that Husqvarna will set the price in the range of Rs. 2.62 - 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
