Hyundai Elantra Sales Dip Despite Facelift - Details

Believe me, when I say this, the premium sedan segment is dying and people are getting attracted towards SUVs more in the Indian market. And for those who opt for the premium sedans then they have four options on their plate - Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, Skoda Octavia and Toyota Corolla Altis. And Hyundai Elantra is one sedan where sales have taken a toll despite getting a facelift.

Hyundai Elantra facelift sales figure for CY2019 came out to just 791 units from 1,415 units in CY2018. It saw a degrowth of 44% and despite the facelift being launched, the sales couldn't beat the rivals. The Civic tops the chart followed by Skoda Octavia.
