Hyundai Exter CNG: Twin Cylinder Technology With ECU
The highlight of this launch is its powertrain. The EXTER is equipped with a 1.2-litre Bi-Fuel engine that runs on both petrol and CNG, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It delivers a maximum power of 69 PS and a maximum torque of 95.2 Nm. What sets it apart is its dual-cylinder CNG technology, unlike the single-cylinder option. To ensure safety, it includes an Integrated Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for the CNG system.
Hyundai Exter CNG: Mileage
The EXTER Hy-CNG Duo offers impressive mileage, delivering a fuel efficiency of 27.1 km/kg, as tested by ARAI. This makes it quite competitive with its rivals. It also features a tank capacity of 60 litres (water equivalent).

The EXTER Hy-CNG Duo comes packed with many good features. It includes an LED setup, a 20.32 cm touchscreen for entertainment and navigation, a wireless phone charger, and cruise control. You also get Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC), a smart electric sunroof, and six airbags for safety. Other highlights are the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and more.

Hyundai Exter CNG: Prices And Variants
The prices start at Rs 8.50 lakh for the S variant, Rs 9.23 lakh for the SX variant, and Rs 9.38 lakh for the Knight SX variant. These are just a few thousand rupees more than the single-cylinder CNG Exter. Another advantage is that the single-cylinder CNG version is only available with limited features in two variants. In contrast, the new two-cylinder CNG version also includes the newly launched Knight Edition.
