Hyundai flagship SUV, Palisade's global debut has reportedly been moved forward by the automaker, which was earlier scheduled for mid to late 2025. The upcoming Hyundai Palisade will come with a complete design overhaul when compared to the previous generation Palisade. According to some reports, now the Palisade SUV will make its global debut by early 2025.

Next-Gen Hyundai Palisade
Talking about its very existence, the Hyundai Palisade is the automaker's flagship and one of the most popular offerings in the international market. Hyundai has been working on the upcoming Palisade with a new perspective to make it a worthy upgrade over the outgoing model. These upgrades will be similar to the ones that the Santa Fe SUV. The automaker was also deliberating upon the India launch of the Palisade, but it has not happened yet.
Next Gen Palisade: Reason for the Early Debut
The reason behind the debut being rescheduled for early 2025 is the rising demand for petrol hybrids globally. This is Hyundai's way to grab the market because the Palisade also comes with the Theta 3 Hybrid powertrain.
The Theta 3 hybrid powertrain is the Hyundai's flagship engine. Mechanically, it is a 2.5-litre turbo petrol unit that comes paired with a strong hybrid setup. The Theta 3 powertrain replaces Hyundai's previous Lambda series powertrains which lacked hybrid assistance.
Hyundai Plans on Hybrids
The soaring demand has led automakers to manufacture more or offer hybrid setups for their existing products. However, Hyundai is dedicated to offering more petrol hybrids globally, including in India. The automaker will reportedly launch hybrids for some of its most popular models in India such as the Verna, Creta, Tucson, and Alcazar by 2027.
