Wardwizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd have released the sales report of their Indian portfolio Joy E-Bike for October 2021.
Wardwizard Innovations Pvt Ltd. is quite well known and in fact, is the leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India. They are more popularly known as Joy e-bike, and recently they announced their sales figure for the second quarter of FY22. During the pandemic, Joy e-bike registered 502% sales growth in October 2021. A total of 2,855 units were sold during this period, compared to just 474 units from last year. The company claims that the recent festive season has led to an increase in sales, but whatever its reason be, it sure does show a positive trend.
Aiding this sales growth is a stellar network of sales services, especially in Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra. Where these electric two-wheelers have been in heavy demand. The company is taking up measures to strengthen its customer base across the country with more dealerships and showrooms.
To help the case, Joy e-bike also boasts of a diverse portfolio of sportbikes never than ever. It ranges from high-performance bikes to low-speed scooters. Not only that, coupled with a flexible finance option with the lowest budget Glob that can be had with just Rs. 1,311 per month over a 60-month duration.

Joy e-bike Hurricane ( Rs. 2.33 lakh)
Starting of the list is Joy e-bike's first naked motorcycle, the Hurricane. It has a muscular tank design, the LED headlight is forward-mounted, and the chassis frame is exposed - all in all, it makes for a good looking bike, Fit and finish could have been better. The Hurricane packs in a 73.6 V 54 Ah lithium-ion battery which when fully charged is good for 90 km of range, besides its top speed of 90 kmph. Motor power is at 5000 W, and the torque output is at 230 Nm, and its twin disc brakes come equipped with CBS instead of ABS.
Joy e-bike Thunderbolt ( Rs. 2.33 lakh)
Unlike the Hurricane, the Joy e-bike Thunderbolt is a fully faired bike, and it comes with a bigger battery capacity at 73.6 V, 72 Ah. This helps it give a range of 110 km on a single charge. The motor power is the same 5000 W, and 230 Nm of torque. Just like the Hurrican, the Thunderbolt is also suspended on telescopic fork front suspension and a rear mono-shock. It is available in two color options - yellow and blue.
Joy e-bike Beast ( Rs. 2.42 lakh)
The Beast is based on the Thunderbolt, for it gets the same 73.6 V, 72 Ah battery capacity. This unit also aides the motor to generate 500- W and 230 Nm of torque. The Beast is the second naked bike in Joy e-bikes portfolio after the Hurricane. It is also pricier than the Hurricane, for it has more range than at 110 kmph in a single charge.
Joy e-bike Skyline (Rs. 2.29 lakh)
The Joy e-bike Skyline is another fully-faired motorcycle like the Thunderbolt but costs less. However, it does come packed in with the same 73.6 V, 72 Ah battery pack that helps give it the same 110 km range in a single charge. It comes equipped with upside-down forks and a mono-shock suspension. This battery takes 9 hours to fully charge via a 10 AMP smart charger. With this setup, Joy e-bikes claim that the bikes will cost you 40 paise/km.
Joy e-bike Gen Nxt Nanu E-scooter (Rs. 71, 500)
Now we enter, Joy e-bikes reasonable range of scooters. Starting with the Gen Nxt Nanu. The design will rightfully remind you of the Honda Active scooters. The Nanu comes packed in with several small battery options. From 60 V, 24 Ah - 60V, 24 Ah, and from 48V 24Ah- 48V 26 Ah battery capacity. It takes 3.5 hours to fully charge and it has a range of 70 km/ charge. The 250 Watts bloc motor is waterproof, and the lithium-ion batteries are detachable.
Joy e-bike Wolf (Rs. 75,000)
The Joy e-bike Wolf has a similar design as the Gen Nxt Nanu, and it gets a similar combination of battery types at 60V, 24 Ah, 48V, 24 Ah, 48V, 26 Ah. Charging these batteries fully takes from 3-3.5 hours. Suspension duties are handled by hydraulic suspension and disk brake on both wheels. The Wolf has a top speed of 25 kmph, which makes it a no license scooter and does not require any registration. This makes it ideal for your school son/ daughter and their ideal first two-wheeler as well.
Joy e-bike Glob (Rs. 72,500)
The Glob is a relatively simple-looking scooter that has a top speed of 25 kmph. Thus it does not require any license or registration to ride on roads. It comes with three combinations of battery type just like the Wolf. 60V, 24 Ah/ 48V24Ah/ 48V 26Ah, and they are detachable units. It takes 3-3.5 hours to fully charge these batteries, upon which it will have a range of 65 km. The rear suspensions are handled by dual adjustable shock absorbers. The LED headlight design in the middle of the Apron is also proper to hark back to old scooter designs, giving it the retro touch.
Joy e-bike Monster (Rs. 1.56 lakh)
The Monster's design will instantly remind you of the Honda Navi. This bike styled scooter promises to be quirky and fun to ride. It comes packed in with a 72V 33 Ah fixed lithium ion battery and a 60V 26 Ah detachable option as well. With this unit, the Monster has a range of 75 kms and the batteries take 4 t0 4.5 hours to get it charged.
