Yes, keeping up with its tradition, you can get a 50% discount on pending Karnataka traffic challans. This is the third instance when the Karnataka government has come up with such a discount for the quick dispersal of pending tickets.

Traffic Challans Now 50% Off
Karnataka Government has reintroduced the rebate for a third time. All the pending traffic challans issued before February 11th, 2023 are eligible for the same. Also, the cut-off date for the discount is set for September 9, 2023.

Following a meeting between the executive chairman of the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLTA) and the Road Safety Commissioner, it was decided to further extend the rebate period for traffic fines. As per the directive from the KSLTA, the government has decided to extend the rebate period for traffic offenders. Thanks to the rebate offered, the Bengaluru traffic police have managed to collect a staggering amount of over Rs. 120 crores from approximately 4.5 lakh pending cases during the months of February and March this year

While this time Karnataka is offering discounts, it isn't just limited to that. Other states come up with similar schemes to provide relief to the violaters as well as for the quick resolution of challans.
