Kawasaki has globally revealed a new motorcycle, Z650RS. The bike is based on the same platform as the Ninja 650 and Z650. Just like its retro sport sibling, the Z900RS, this new motorcycle looks as bold with a retro touch. Z650RS is powered by a 649cc liquid cooled 4-stroke dual cylinder engine which produces 50.2 kW of maximum power and 64 Nm of peak torque.

The retro racer comes with an assist and slipper clutch that acts as a back torque limiter and a self-servo mechanism for a lighter clutch lever pull.
The Kawasaki Z650RS is a good alternative to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 as there is a huge difference in prices between the two motorcycles. Kawasaki Z650RS will be available in three colors - Candy Emerald Green, Metallic Moondust Gray/Ebony, and Metallic Spark Blue. Taking a look at the models offered by Kawasaki in India, it already sells Ninja 650 and Z650 for the Indian riders and there is also a possibility that Kawasaki launched Z650RS also in India but the price will definitely play a crucial role.
