Mahindra XUV700 is one of the top selling three row SUV under Rs 30 lakh in India. Launched back in 2021 the SUV still boast a long waiting period. Currently the SUV is offered in two seating layouts 5-seater and 7 seater. Now, it seems like the brand is preparing to bring a new seating option for the SUV. Mahindra XUV700 Coming With Captain Seats
As per recently revealed details, the Mahindra XUV700 is slated to receive captain seats in the second row. This addition will provide an alternative seating arrangement for the top-spec optional variants, transforming them into six-seaters. There is speculation that the brand may introduce new variants featuring the optional six-seater configuration.
A new feature set to be introduced to the XUV700 is the auto-dimming IRVM. Currently, it is uncertain which variants will include this feature. Additionally, there are reports indicating that the SUV may also incorporate ventilated seats. Besides these additions, the XUV700 is expected to maintain its existing features unchanged.
The Mahindra XUV700 is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine. The diesel variants feature a 2.2-liter diesel engine, with the MX models generating 153 bhp of power. In the AX models, the diesel engine produces 182 bhp of power, 420 Nm (MT) of peak torque, and 450 Nm (AT) of peak torque. Meanwhile, the petrol engine generates 197 bhp of power and a torque output of 380 Nm.
