MG Motor India has once again revised the pricing of its electric lineup, this time the MG Comet EV. Earlier, MG has revised the pricing for its Windsor EV lineup. How Much Is The Price Hike?
The MG Comet EV is one of the most affordable EVs in the Indian market. Comet is available in four variants: Executive, Excite, Exclusive and 100-year edition. When it comes to the variant-wise hike, the entry-level variant Executive remains unchanged, priced at Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). For the Excite variant, you'll have to pay an additional Rs 12,000 for the standard version and Rs 17,000 if you opt for the fast charger variant. However, the Exclusive and the 100-year Edition have been bundled up with a fast charger, becoming costlier by Rs 19,000.
What's On Offer?
The MG Comet EV is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor along with a 17.3 kWh battery pack. This motor generates 42 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. However, it can go up to 230 km within a single charge. Moreover, in terms of features, it boasts 10.25-inch twin displays, power-adjustable mirrors and grey-themed interiors. This EV can charge up to 100 per cent in 7 hours, while it can go from 10-80 per cent in just 5 hours using a 3.3 kW charger.
