Its nearest main rival is the Tata Tiago EV's base XE variant which costs Rs 8.69 lakh ex-showroom. As both EVs are priced very close to each other with a difference of just Rs 71,000, the buyers are bound to get confused. Verdict: Although the MG Comet EV is the most affordable electric car in India with a price tag of Rs 7.98 lakh ex-showroom, it still offers a music system with speakers which the Tata Tiago EV's base XE variant misses out on. On the other hand, the Tata Tiago EV's base XE variant offers advanced connected car tech with smartwatch integration which the MG Comet EV's base Pace variant misses out on. Both EVs have some positives & negatives on the features front, but on the specs front, both are good electric city cars with a certified range of more than 200 Km.
