Ducati has launched its most affordable bike, the Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark, priced at Rs 9.97 lakh. As the name suggests, this is an all-black motorcycle, featuring smoked headlamps, and it looks ravishing in pictures. When compared to its bigger model, the Icon, we found that the Icon Dark is Rs 94,000 cheaper. While it is 99.9% similar in everything, a few exterior differences make it stand out, which I will mention below. New Scrambler Ducati Icon Dark

Now, this is an impressive price, and one hell of a motorcycle. Like its name, its design is truly iconic with a timeless black style, where Ducati hasn't used different shades of black but a minimalistic matte black that makes this Scrambler variant so rich. Compared to the regular Ducati Scrambler Icon, it doesn't have an underseat cowl, which adds to the aerodynamics of the bike, but here Ducati hasn't provided it. However, if you explore the accessories options, you'll find that design element, along with more things.

Also, the headlights with the X mark now get finished in a smoke style, which is quite noticeable from the first go. Lastly, from the features end to everything, this bike remains the same as the Icon but is available at the lower attractive price of Rs 9.97 lakh, and its bookings have also started. Now, onto the power figures and features on offer.
Power Figures and Features

This 176 kg roadster bike gets the same 803cc engine, producing 73 hp and 48.1 Nm of torque. Its exhaust is made of a stainless steel muffler with a catalytic converter and lambda probes. The front wheels are 18 inches, and the rear wheels are 17 inches. It also features dual-channel ABS from Bosch, and the frame used here is a Trellis. Other safety features include Ducati Traction Control, Power Mode, and Riding Mode. Modern features include a 4.3-inch TFT display with crystal-clear graphics, which integrates seamlessly with the bike's Ride-by-Wire system, offering smooth throttle control. Moreover, smartphones can be connected via the Ducati Link App, allowing the rider to access call details and manage apps from the handlebars. So, overall, the features are up to date according to modern motorcycle standards.

Verdict
This motorcycle's ex-showroom price is Rs 9.97 lakh, but getting it on the road will cost around Rs 11 lakh, which is still a great deal compared to the regular Icon. Apart from this, we believe this is a smart move by the brand, as people in India are in love with a machine that looks daunting and commands respect everywhere it goes, which this bike will. The engine is fantastic, and everything will be great; after all, it's a Ducati.
