Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Gets An Affordable Variant

Bajaj is introducing a more budget-friendly variant of the Pulsar NS200, aimed at making the bike more accessible by using less premium components while retaining key features. The 2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Single ABS variant has started arriving at showrooms, as spotted in a YouTube walkaround. It is available in the same colour options as the 2024 model- Cocktail Wine Red-White, Glossy Ebony Black, Metallic Pearl White, and Pewter Grey- Blue.

The biggest changes include the switch to conventional 37mm RSU telescopic front forks, replacing the premium USD forks, and a single-channel ABS setup working on the front wheel. Despite the cost-cutting, Bajaj has retained the fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation, along with the complete LED lighting setup, including DRLs, headlamp, tail lamp, and indicators. The bike continues to sport wide tyres, with a 100-section front and 130-section rear, ensuring a balanced and confident ride.4o

Expected to be around Rs 5,0008,000 cheaper than the current Rs 1.60 lakh model, it will ease out that entry-level price point for a more attractive mass appeal. This will, in turn, create more buyers who are looking for this particular model, but have a little tighter budget.

Engine Details

The upcoming model continues with the familiar 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder engine, which produces 24 bhp of maximum power and 18.7 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Now updated to comply with BS6 OBD2B emission norms, this version is already reaching dealerships, the official price is yet to come out.
Verdict
The lower price point will make the proposition better for some buyers as it will make the entry, more affordable for some. But going by the popularity of the Pulsar range, it only makes sense to keep things intersting and to have something for every one. Bajaj knows this and the volume speaks, making it one of the most popular bike in the country.
