New EV Launches Lined Up For 2024: Know All Details

1. Audi Q6 e-tron

The Q6 e-tron represents a novel electric SUV built upon Audi's recently developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE). This platform incorporates cutting-edge battery and charging technologies, along with the brand's latest 'E3' electronics architecture. While comprehensive details about the powertrain are still awaited, the vehicle will adopt an 800V architecture, providing an estimated range of approximately 600km. Inside, the Q6 e-tron will feature Audi's latest infotainment technology, showcasing twin screens arranged in a curved layout, with an additional screen dedicated to the front passenger. Noteworthy features include advanced digital matrix LED headlights equipped with a multi-pixel LED array and second-generation digital OLED technology. As implied by its name, the Q6 e-tron is anticipated to be a more compact and cost-effective Audi electric SUV, positioned below the Q8 e-tron.

BYD's latest entry into the Indian market comes in the form of the Seal, a dynamic four-door electric sedan. 4. Citroen eC3 Aircross

Citroen's upcoming electric model, the eC3 Aircross, is poised to be the next addition to their electric vehicle lineup. Introducing an electric variant for the C3 Aircross is a logical progression. In comparison to the eC3 hatchback, which features a 29.2kWh battery and a 57hp electric motor, Citroen may consider opting for a larger battery and motor to meet the Aircross model's increased size and weight. Similar to its petrol counterpart, the eC3 Aircross is expected to be available in both five- and seven-seater configurations.

5. Hyundai Creta EV

Hyundai is expected to unveil an electric version of the Creta in the third quarter of 2024, utilizing the internal combustion engine platform with certain modifications. Internally, similarities are expected in terms of interiors and equipment, mirroring those found in the internal combustion engine model. 6. Tata Harrier EV

In terms of interior enhancements, while retaining many components from the XUV700, the XUV.e8 aims to elevate the driving experience with an advanced trio of screens, encompassing a digital instrument cluster, infotainment system, and an additional screen dedicated to passengers.
