The new Jeep Wrangler has now been launched as a CKD unit and the price starts at Rs 53.90 lakh for the Unlimited variant while the Rubicon sets its price at Rs 57.9 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi and the bookings for the same have already been started.

To bring you some light then the earlier CBU units of the Wrangler were priced from Rs 63.94 lakh to Rs 68.94 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The new Wrangler does not get any styling or mechanical changes and continues like before.

Under the hood, it still packs a 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine which generates as much as 268 bhp at 5250 RPM with a peak torque of 400 Nm at 3000 RPM. This engine gets mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and no diesel engine is on the offer.
Feature-wise, the new Wrangler gets a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment unit that supports the latest connectivity features like Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto. The car also gets dual-zone climate control, Alpine music system, voice command, keyless entry, folding seats and others.
The Wrangler is not just 4x4 equipped but also offer great safety features like multiple airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic roll mitigation, rear parking sensors, hill start and descent control and traction control.

Sharing details on the top of the line Rubicon variant then it gets all the features of the Unlimited but its USP is its off-roading capability. This variant is designed in a way that everything comes in handy when you take this out.
The Rubicon gets 17-inch tyres whereas the Unlimited is expected to sport 18-inch ones. Another difference will be in the front grille, black fender flares, RUBICON label, rock trac system, 4.10 axle ratio and also gets tru-lok differential for both front and rear.
