The American multinational automobile manufacturer, Ford Motors is planning to introduce the seventh-generation Ford Mustang by 2024. Ford Mustang is one of the oldest and best-selling cars in the automotive industry. The upcoming iteration of the aggressive muscle car will seek to evolve.
The upcoming Mustang will come with familiar styling cues that characteristic silhouette will be also unchanged. The Mustang will come with much-upgraded technology and is expected to get a hybrid version also. Ford Mustang will now come with a new petrol electrified drivetrain with its trademark V8 engine.
The all-new Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV and the upcoming Mustang is expected to come with the same 5.0-litre naturally aspirated Coyote V8 engine integrated with a pair of e-motors. These motors help in producing more power with reduced emissions.
The upcoming Mustang is expected to come as a four-wheel-drive where the rear axles will have the power from the engine and the front axle will be powered by the pair of electric motors installed in the car. This will allow the car to either drive in EV mode or on its petrol aggressive engine. The four-wheel-drive Mustang will have increased traction of wheel with a ground surface that will help in increasing acceleration and decreasing wheel slippage.
Ford Mustang always had a muscular and aggressive body language and design. The existing one available in India looks quite sporty however the upcoming one will also have a bold stance with the slightest changes to its exterior and interior. However, the major changes will be noticed in terms of performance and specifications that have been upgraded.
The electric motors installed in the upcoming Mustang will help the car to have better power and torque figures. Already the coupe comes equipped with one of the most powerful V8 engines and now this electrified system is just an add on to its performance.
Ford Motors is keeping up with its promise and the Mustang Mach-E and the upcoming seventh-generation Ford Mustang is expected to be launched in India as well via the CBU route. But the company will prioritise the launch of the SUVs in global markets.
