Next-Gen Mahindra Bolero SUV To Get 4 Row Seats
As per an online report, the new-gen Bolero will get multiple iterations. These iterations will be based on different chassis lengths. For example, the first variant launch will be under 4 meters in length & probably get a 5-seat option. However, the new U171 architecture will also provide space for further elongation of the car. Mahindra will later introduce a long-wheelbase version of it that will have up to 4 rows of front-facing seats. This version is most likely to fight with the Force Citiline in the Tier-2 markets. The main purpose of these LWB versions will be to generate economic growth for the company.
The Bolero has been a workhorse for the company, and it is still one of the best-selling SUVs in the rural Indian market. But the design and overall mechanism are now getting too old. A new-gen platform will not only provide better features and more safety but also a refined and comfortable engine. As the debut timeline nears, which is set around late 2025 or early 2026, more details will surface about the next-gen Bolero.
Verdict
The new generation of the Mahindra Bolero SUV will not only cater rural markets but also the urban buyers. With a better designed cabin and good off-road capabilities, the new Bolero might attract numerous young buyers who want a sturdy SUV within a budget. More details will reveal as we approach its debut time.
