Oben Electric, an electric vehicle startup based in Bengaluru, has successfully delivered the first batch of 25 of their high-performance electric motorcycles. The F2R (First to Rorr) ceremony hosted by Oben Electric on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at their manufacturing site in Jigani, Bangalore, marked this significant occasion. Oben Rorr Electric Motorcycle
The Oben Rorr electric motorcycle comes with a 10 kW IPMSM motor developed in-house, delivering remarkable acceleration (0-40 kmph in 3 seconds) and reaching a top speed of 100 kmph. It sets itself apart with its industry-leading certified range of 187 km (IDC), surpassing other electric two-wheelers in India. Notably, the Rorr boasts a pioneering feature with its in-house designed and developed battery pack utilizing LFP (Lithium Ferrous Phosphorous) cell technology, a first in its segment.
The company is introducing several customer-centric benefits for the first time in the segment. These include 3 Free Services within the first year, a warranty of 50,000 km/3 years that can be extended up to 5 years or 75,000 km, whichever occurs earlier. Additionally, there is a 3-year motor warranty, complimentary Roadside Assistance, and nationwide access to over 12,000 charging stations through trusted charging partners.
