India's second-largest selling electric two-wheeler brand, Okinawa is all set to launch their high-speed e-2w, the Okhi 90 in India.
India's largest manufacturer of electric 2-wheelers, Okinawa is all set to launch their next, biggest, and fastest electric scooter, the Okhi 90 on March 24th. We at 91wheels have already spotted the camouflaged Okhi 90 being tested on road. And going by that initial impression, the upcoming electric scooter looks quite different than any other electric 2W in India.
Starting with the body panels, the Okhi 90 (internally codenamed) electric scooter will rightfully remind you of the Kinetic K4. Its sleek body design and wheels the size of a motorcycle, promises a nimble and agile ride quality in city rides. Okinawa has been very tightlipped about the dimensions, and specs of the upcoming bike. But the company has hinted previously that they will introduce a high-speed 2-wheelers with a longer range.

We're not sure about the battery specs and electric motor as of yet, but the Okhi 90 is expected to have a range of 160 km. Some of the visible designs that we believe will make into the production motorcycle include aluminum alloy wheels, LED headlights and DRLs, and LED taillamp. Transmission duties will be handled by telescopic front suspensions up front, and dual gas-shock absorbers for the rear. The Okhi90 is also expected to come with swappable batteries, a feature that many electronic mobility companies are adopting. Besides, for that posh appeal, the Oki90 will also equip chrome surrounds on the rearview mirror, and front panel.
The digital instrument cluster on the Okhi90 is expected to feature Bluetooth connectivity, in-built GPS, and navigation as well. The Okhi90 is expected to be priced between Rs. 1.00 lakh-Rs. 1.20 lakh.
