On the 75th Independence day of India, Ola Electric introduced the most affordable e-scooter in their line-up, also called S1. It carries a price tag of Rs 99,999 ex-showroom, Delhi. It has a competitive price tag compared to the Simple One and still gets all the modern features one needs.
Ola S1 Battery Pack
When compared with its sibling, the S1 Pro, the newly launched S1 gets a smaller battery pack. This 3kWh Li-ion battery pack gets a reduced range and performance when compared with the S1 Pro. The S1 Pro is equipped with a bigger battery of 4kWh.

Ola S1 Riding Range and Performance
The ARAI-certified range of the recently launched, Ola S1 sticks to 141 km, however, the true range in the normal mode ranges to 101 km only. The same in the Eco mode sticks to 128 km and in the Sports mode, it is 90 km. The top speed of this scooter sticks to 95 kmph only.
The Ola S1 can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.9 seconds while the S1 Pro does the same in just 4.5 seconds. The smaller battery pack has surely affected the range as well as the performance of the new e-scooter. On the positive side, the smaller battery pack makes the kerb weight lighter by up to 4 kg and a quick charging from 0 to 100 percent in just 5 hours.

Ola S1 Electric Features
Feature-wise, the scooter is equipped with a touchscreen infotainment screen, reverse mode, music playback, LED lighting, 36-litres of under-seat storage and more. It gets all the features that the S1 Pro gets and with the MOVEOS 3.0 coming this Diwali, do expect more features in this budget e-scooter.
In other news, Ola has also introduced a limited edition, Khakhi shade for the S1 Pro and that is limited to 1947 units only.
