Ola Electric has set a date for the release of Ola Move OS 2.0, which will take place on June 18th. For a few months, the business has been testing the new OS and pushing the update for numerous models. Some of the features on the Ola S1 and S1 Pro were lacking when they were first released, however, those features should be added to the scooters with the Move OS 2.0 upgrade.
Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal used Twitter to announce the launch of MoveOS 2.0, which would be available as an over-the-air (OTA) update to all consumers. New music playback options, cruise control, and a new ECO mode that enhances the scooter's overall range are also part of the upgrade. The event will take place at the Ola Future factory.

The Ola CEO has also encouraged Ola owners to achieve a range of more than 200 kilometres on a single charge, and if they succeed, Ola would reward them with an Ola S1 Pro Gerua scooter. The CEO has already given a new Ola S1 Pro in the limited-edition Gerua colour to an owner. The owner was able to travel 202 kilometres on a single charge after upgrading to Move OS 2.0.
The S1 and S1 Pro scooters come in a range of different colour combinations. Ola S1 comes with a a non-removable 2.98 kWh battery that can go 121 kilometres on a single charge. The S1 Pro features a 3.97 kWh battery that allows it to travel 181 kilometres on a single charge. The S1 Pro has a high speed of 115 kmph, while the S1 has a top speed of 90 kmph. Both scooters have a peak power of 8.5 kW and torque of 58 Nm.

There have been a few recent fires involving various e-scooters. Ola was also involved in the mishaps. The company has previously identified and corrected the problem by calling a certain batch of scooters. According to Ola, the firm strives to provide safe, environmentally-friendly transportation, and such incidents will not recur, as promised.
Ola has started its second purchase window in May and shortly after the purchase window started, the price of the Ola S1 Pro electric scooter was increased by Rs 10,000. It was formerly priced at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), but now costs Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
