Ola S1 X Scooter: What's Different?
The new S1 X scooter is positioned below the S1 X Plus. It is based on a similar design as the rest of the S1 range. However, the only change is the bigger battery, i.e., a 4 kWh setup. This battery helps in achieving an IDC-claimed range of up to 190 km per charge. The top speed stands at 90 kmph, which is similar to the S1 Air. It can go from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. Moreover, it doesn't get any mechanical changes.
Feature-wise, it is equipped with LED lights, a digital instrument console of size 10.9 cm or 4.3 inches, and other connected features. Cruise control is also offered as a standard for a better riding experience. However, it doesn't have features like proximity lock/unlock, geofencing, etc. The flat footboard and a massive 34 L of under-seat space offer maximum convenience to the users. Its main rivals are the Ather 450S and the TVS iQube.
