Revolt Intellicorp is a Gurgaon-based Indian start-up that made its market debut in the year 2019. The start-up is founded by Micromax Informatics Co-founder Mr Rahul Sharma. The company launched the Revolt RV400 and the RV300 at a grand launch event in the National Capital Territory of India. These electric motorcycles became an instant hit. But now, the company has closed the bookings of the Revolt RV400 and the RV300. We tell you why.
If you remember, just last week, RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd announced an investment of Rs. 150 Crores for acquiring a substantial stake in Revolt. As a part of the deal, RattanIndia Enterprises will hold an equity share in Revolt and Rajiv Rattan will join as the non-executive chairman of the start-up. So, RattanIndia-backed electric bike maker said that the company has received a strong response for the Revolt RV400 and the Revolt RV300 and thus has closed the bookings. Due to high demand, the company has paused taking any fresh bookings. However, the interested customers can still fill in their details and Revolt will notify them once the bookings are resumed.

Now, if we talk about the specs of the Revolt RV400, so it gets a 3kW electric motor that has a peak power output of 3000 watts (around 4 PS) and the top speed is rated at 80 kmph. It gets three different Riding Modes - Eco, City and Sport. The electric motorcycle comes coupled to a 72-volt 3.24KWh lithium-ion battery. It has an ARAI-certified range of 156 kilometres on a single charge.
