A new spy video that is popular on social media recently showed the rear-end design up close to the Himalayan 450. As seen in the video, the bike will get a bigger chassis than the current model. Obviously, to accommodate the bigger engine and bigger components; its dimensions are huge as well. The fuel tank design is also muscular as well as massive to look at. Meanwhile, the raised handlebar gets a new switchgear. It'll also get a digital console with connected features. Rumours also hint that it'll get a cruise control option as well as riding modes.

However, look closely and the most interesting detail of its rear surfaces. The test mule is equipped with an LED brake light integrated into the LED turn indicators. There is no separate unit for the brake light. This has also helped in creating more space for the luggage top box mount. Meanwhile, the rider is sitting quite comfortably, at least to look at. But, the footpegs are a little bit rear set as visible.

RE has made a brand-new engine for this bike. It is a 450cc single-cylinder engine (anticipated) that will make a peak power of around 40 bhp. Also, there are online rumours that this engine is faster than the KTM 390 Adventure and it can easily hit upwards of 150 kmph. But, all of these details will only get uncovered when we get our hands on the new Himalayan. Additionally, the exhaust design of it is also different and short. RE has tried to keep the centre of mass in the middle like the Hunter 350. Hence, its exhaust sound is bassy and full of rumble.

Verdict - When Will It Launch?

With so many test mules being spied on recently, the hint is that its global debut is nearing. As per our anticipation, RE will debut it globally by September this year. However, its Indian debut might take a month or more. Once launched, it'll compete with the KTM 390 Adventure as well as the BMW G 310 GS. We're expecting that its sticker price will be around Rs 2.5-2.75 lakh.
