Royal Enfield is currently working to introduce a new classic roadster for the Indian market and is expected to launch this new bike around Diwali this year. To be called the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, this new bike will take on other rivals like the Honda CB350RS, Yezdi Roadster, etc. Here are all the details that you should know about this new Royal Enfield bike for the Indian market.
The new Hunter 350 will be based on the J1D platform that also underpins the RE Meteor and the new-gen RE Classic. With classic roadster styling, this new bike is expected to appeal to a wide range of buyers. Having said this, it will get a 35mm telescopic suspension at the front while the rear setup consists of twin gas-charged shock absorbers. The front and the rear wheels get disc brakes while a dual-channel ABS too is expected to be offered with this bike. Other important elements include LED taillights, a short exhaust, pillion backrest, etc.

This bike is expected to be powered by the same 349 cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine. This engine churns out a peak power and torque output of 20.2 hp and 27 Nm respectively. We are expecting the brand to offer this gearbox with a 5-speed gearbox and other features like a slipper and assist clutch.
On the features front, the RE Hunter 350 is expected to be offered with a Tripper Navigation pod with turn-by-turn navigation on the instrument console, Bluetooth, USB charger, LED lights, etc. Other features like dual-channel ABS will also be offered as a standard part of the package. While the brand is yet to announce the official launch timeline of the Hunter 350, we are expecting a launch near Diwali in India.
