In order to further strengthen its contactless customer experience, Hero MotoCorp has commenced the XPulse 200 4V bookings on its online sales platform.
By giving the engine more valves to breathe, Hero MotoCorp had made the XPulse 200 4V highway friendly. This helped sustain the momentum of ever-increasing sales numbers. So much, that after selling out the first lot of the motorcycle, Hero has now commenced the online booking of a second lot of XPulse 200 4V.
Priced at Rs. 1,30,150 (Ex-showroom, Delhi), the motorcycle is available for booking on Hero MotoCorps online sales platform, Eshop. You can book the motorcycle for a nominal amount of Rs. 10,000/-.
Hero also provides the XPulse 200 4V with an additional Rally Kit option. This FMSCI approved kit will get you to rebound and compression adjustable front forks, and a pre-load and rebound adjustable mono-shock, handlebar risers, a rally seat, and Maxxis block pattern tyres.

Dimensionally, the XPulse is built around a tubular diamond chassis and the body suspends on a 37 mm long-travel suspension with a 190 mm stroke, and a 10-step rider-adjustable mono-shock with 170 mm of stroke. The XPulse rides on 21 inch spoke wheels at the front, and 18 spoke wheels at the rear. The overall height of the motorcycle stands at 1258 mm tall, with 220 mm of ground clearance. The XPulse 200 4V is comparatively lighter too at 157 kgs, which makes it easy to flick on rough terrains and large boulders.
Mechanically, the 200 4V continues to be powered by a BS-VI-compliant 200 cc 4-valve oil-cooled engine that produces 19.1 Ps @ 8500 rpm, and 17.35 Nm of torque@till 6500 rpm. The other two iterations of the same engine but with just 2-valves, available with the XPulse 200 and XPulse 200T, produces 17.8 Ps and 16.45 Nm of torque, and 18.1 Ps and 161.5 Nm of torque, respectively.

For better heat management in bumper-to-bumper traffic situations, Hero has updated the oil-cooling system, and the 5-speed manual transmission gets improved gear ratios for better acceleration.
No doubt, the Hero XPulse 200 4V, is a one of its kind semi-street dirt bike. So, obviously, it is in a segment of its own, and hence naturally some of the features will be segment-firsts as well. For example, the full LCD digital instrument cluster that gets Smartphone connectivity. The cluster also displays call and text alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, gear indicators, Eco mode and two trip metres. The bike also equips an LED headlight and tail lamp for enhanced vision.
