Tata Nexon Base Variant Interiors Modified - This Is How It Looks Now

Update 22/042021 - Tata has also brought in an electric sunroof as an option in the XM variant which is priced at Rs 8.52 lakh for the petrol and Rs 9.85 lakh for the diesel. The prices of Tata Nexon starts from Rs 7.10 lakh and the top model fetches Rs 12.80 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

We all have been there when we buy our first car and go for the aftermarket accessories to modify the car according to our taste. For some, it's basic customisations job (interiors and exteriors) while for some it's the performance upgrades. Here, in its article, we discuss the Tata Nexon modified Interiors for the base variant.

Most of us pick the base or mid-spec variant of cars as they cost less and offer a decent amount of features too. Here in this video, the 2020 Tata Nexon comes with modified interiors in its base variant. The first up highlight is the Silk Nappa Leather Seats which provides extra cushioning. Second, you notice the door upholstery which goes with the seat colour contrast. This upholstery is finished in camel shade. Then the door panels are finished in high gloss piano black finish which gives a premium touch to the SUV.

Next up is the dashboard which gets covered in high gloss hydrograph printing which matches up with the camel tone of the seats. Moving towards the steering wheel then it gets a dual-tone camel and black shade with beige colour stitching.

Similarly, the door pillars are also modified and now see camel colour shades on them. This entire job sticks to the interior modification of the Nexon and no mechanical upgrades have been performed. The total cost of this entire modification will cost you around Rs 21,000 to Rs 25,000 depending upon your taste.

This particular variant is the base XE which does not get the integrated music system. It gets front power windows, drive modes, traction control, LED Daytime Running Lights, Projector Headlights, LED Taillights, Digital Instrument Cluster and among others.

Safety features stick with dual airbags, front seat belt reminders, high-speed alert system, ABS with EBD and ESP followed by brake assist and hill hold control. Tata Nexon is considered as the safest compact SUV in its segment and attaining Global NCAP ratings of 5 stars.

Sharing more details on Tata Nexon then it packs in a powerful 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine along with a 1.5L turbo-diesel unit. The petrol produces a whopping 118 bhp on tap along with a peak torque of 172 Nm. The oil burner makes 108 bhp with 260 Nm of torque. Transmission sticks to a 6-speed manual gearbox along with an optional AMT unit.

The prices of the Tata Nexon starts from 6.95 lakh and goes till Rs 12.70 lakh for the top-spec variant. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. Tata Nexon competes with the likes of Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford Ecosport and Mahindra XUV300.
